What exactly are laundry sheets?
Laundry sheets — also known as detergent sheets or laundry strips — are thin, concentrated sheets of detergent. They contain the same active ingredients as liquid detergent: surfactants that loosen dirt and enzymes that break down proteins and fats. The difference is the carrier.
Liquid detergent consists of 60 to 80 percent water. That water does not contribute to cleaning, but makes the bottle heavy, bulky and prone to leaks. A laundry sheet is concentrated and dry — the same cleaning power, without the water and without the bottle.
How do laundry sheets work?
Place the sheet directly in your washing machine's drum, together with the laundry. As soon as the water enters, the sheet dissolves completely and releases the active ingredients. They spread evenly throughout the load and clean the laundry.

For a small load or hand wash, use half a strip. Dissolve it in a bowl of lukewarm water and wash as usual.

Are laundry sheets as effective at cleaning as regular detergent?
For average household laundry, yes. Laundry sheets contain the same types of surfactants and enzymes as liquid detergent. For extremely heavily soiled laundry — workwear, muddy sportswear — liquid detergent is slightly more flexible because you can increase the dosage. For everyday laundry, you will not notice a difference.

Do laundry sheets also work at low temperatures?
